Two Sisters Killed in Massachusetts House Fire: A Community Left With Grief — and Unanswered Questions

BELLINGHAM, Mass. — A quiet street in Bellingham became the scene of heartbreak early Monday morning after a fast-moving house fire claimed the lives of two sisters and left a community shaken.

Officials later confirmed that the victims were sisters. Both women were pulled from the home and rushed to Milford Hospital, where they later died from their injuries. Their names and ages had not been released as authorities continued notifying family members.

A cat also died in the fire.
